Eventchaser is a Chicago-based editorial team covering live music, nightlife, food and drink, fashion and culture across the city. Everything sent through this form reaches an editor directly — there is no ticketing queue and no outsourced inbox.

• Editorial and corrections — if something we published is wrong, incomplete, or out of date, send the page URL and what needs changing. Corrections are made as soon as we can confirm them.
• Event submissions — use the event submission form instead of this page so the details land in the right place. Read the submission guidelines first; listings need a venue, a date and a working ticket or info link.
• Advertising and partnerships — rates, banner sizes and sponsorship options are on the advertise page. Mention your campaign window and preferred placements and we will send availability.
• Press, PR and artist teams — pitches, interview requests and photo credentials for Chicago dates are welcome. Include the date and venue in the subject line so it does not get lost.

Response times

We answer most messages within two to three business days. Time-sensitive requests tied to an event happening inside a week move faster if you say so in the subject line. Corrections to published pages are prioritized over everything else, because a wrong date on a listing costs a reader a night out.

Before you write

A few things that save everyone time: include a link to the event, venue or article you are writing about; tell us the neighborhood if the venue is not well known; and if you are following up on an earlier message, reply in the same thread rather than starting a new one. We keep every submission on file even when we do not cover it immediately, and event dates frequently resurface later in the season.
